If someone you love has a drinking problem, AA may have a solution for him or her. AA has helped more than two million alcoholics stop drinking. Recovery works through one alcoholic sharing his or her experience with another.

Professionals who work with alcoholics share a common goal with AA: to help the alcoholic stop drinking. Upon request, AA members are available to provide meetings or information about AA.

AA members work together to help the alcoholic who still suffers. Helping one another is key to staying sober. There are many opportunities to get involved in a variety of ways. The best place to start getting involved is through an AA group. Participating in a group ensures that when a person reaches out for help, AA will be there.
